Steven Good, Carrie St. Louis Set for Celebration Theatre’s Justin Love Musical
The Los Angeles-based Celebration Theatre‘s 30th anniversary season will kick off with the world premiere of the musical Justin Love, to run September 21-November 18. Michael Matthew will direct, with musical direction by Gregory Nabours.
Justin Rush is Hollywood’s biggest movie star who has it all; but he’s finding it harder to keep his secrets secret in our TMZ, twitter-addicted, celebrity-obsessed culture. When Chris Andrews, his publicist’s assistant, and Mitchell Matthews, Justin’s wife Amanda’s old high school sweetheart (and now tabloid photojournalist), enter their lives, things start to get complicated.
Written by Patricia Cotter, David Elzer, and Bret Calder and choreography by Janet Roston (with music and lyrics by Lori Scarlett and David Manning), Justin Love stars Joe Donohoe as Lou, Steven Good as Justin, Grant Jordan as Syd, Tyler Ledon as Chris, Ciaran McCarthy as Mitch, Afton Quast as Sue, Terrance Spencer as Donovan, Carrie St. Louis as Amanda, Alet Taylor as Buck, Gina Torrecilla as Mary, and Sabrina Miller and Adam Joseph Reich as everyone else.
