HERO Theatre is set to present a benefit reading of Small Craft Warnings by Tennessee Williams, starring Emmy Award winner and stage veteran William H. Macy and film and television star Joe Manganiello, on Sunday, July 29 at 6pm at the Annenberg Community Beach House in Santa Monica. John Levey will direct.

Small Craft Warnings is a look at a lonely and disparate group of working class people.

This production is part of HERO’s fundraising efforts to present its first full-scale production, a world-premiere of a new translation of Anton Chekhov’s Three Sisters. The event will also include a silent aucton.

Macy most recently appeared on Broadway in Speed-the-Plow and is a founding member of the Atlantic Theatre Company. Manganiello is currently on the big screen in Magic Mike and is a cast member of HBO’s True Blood.
