Baxter is best known for her role of Elyse Keaton on TV's Family Ties. Christensen is best known for her work with The Groundlings. Henderson's many stage credits include Fanny and South Pacific and she starred on the hit sitcom The Brady Bunch. Torres has been featured in recurring roles in Firefly and Angel. Winokur won a Tony for Hairspray. She is also known for her television appearances on Dancing with the Stars and Dance Your Ass Off and will be part of CBS' new talk show The Mommy Report this fall.
The current cast of Love, Loss, and What I Wore, performing through August 1, features Tony Award winner Tyne Daly and her daughter Kathryne Dora Brown, alongside Bonnie Franklin, Glenne Headly, and Amy Pietz.
Based on Ilene Beckerman's 1995 book about clothes and the memories they trigger, the production is directed by Karen Carpenter, and features a series of five-person casts that will play in four-week cycles.
A portion of the production's proceeds will benefit Dress for Success, a charity that provides work clothing and job support for low-income women. Audience members are invited to donate their gently-used purses and other accessories in the theater's lobby.
