Neil Patrick Harris, Julianna Margulies, Margo Martindale, Jim Parsons, et al. Win Critics Choice TV Awards

The Critics Choice TV Awards were presented in Beverly Hills on Monday, June 20.

Mad Men won for Best Drama Series; Modern Family was named Best Comedy Series; and American Idol won Best Reality Series.


In the Drama categories, Julianna Margulies won Best Actress for her work on The Good Wife, while Jon Hamm won Best Actor for Mad Men. Best Supporting Actress was a tie between Christina Hendricks (Mad Men) and Margo Martindale (Justified). Best Supporting Actor went to John Noble for Fringe.

In the Comedy categories, Tina Fey won Best Actress for 30 Rock, Jim Parsons won Best Actor for The Big Bang Theory, Busy Phillips won Best Supporting Actress for Cougar Town, and Neil Patrick Harris won Best Supporting Actor for How I Met Your Mother.
