The film will be directed by Tony winner Christopher Ashley and choreographed by Joey Pizzi. Ahrens is writing the script as well as penning additional songs with Flaherty.
Based on Michael Butterworth's 1965 novel , The Man Who Broke the Bank at Monte Carlo, the musical centers on a lonely English bachelor who stands to inherit a fortune from his recently deceased uncle - if he can beat out several other people interested in the same inheritance.
