GatChu productions will present the world premiere of Ovation Award-winning playwright Damon Chua's 1969: A Fantastical Odyssey Through the American Mindscape. Performances will be held from March 23-April 29 at Theatre/Theater.

This epic new play focuses on the seismic, cultural shift that occurred in our nation in 1969, leaving us forever changed. Follow real historic characters Mary Jo Kopechne, William J. Murray, and Junior (son of Apollo 11 astronaut Michael Collins) as they traverse through that frenetically disturbing year.

1969's cast will include Rebecca Avery, Annie McCain Engman, Brendan Farrell, Brett Fleisher, Rod Keller, Kyle Overstreet, David Pavao, Chloe Peterson, Ken Peterson, Meredith M. Sweeney and Pat Scott.

In addition to Chua, the creative team features director Tony Gatto, set designer David Mauer, video designer Adam Fleming, sound designer Joseph "Sloe" Slawinski, light designer Joel Daavid and costume designer Michael Mullen.
