John Logan, Bill Nighy Win Annie Awards

Tony Award winner John Logan was honored with the International Animated Film Society’s coveted Annie Award for co-writing the screenplay for the animated film Rango on Saturday, February 4 in Los Angeles.


The film also picked up the Annies for Best Picture, Character Design, and Editing.


In addition, film and stage star Bill Nighy, who appeared in the Broadway play The Vertical Hour, won an Annie for his voice performance in the film Arthur Christmas.


Other film and television shows that won Annie Awards included Kung Fu Panda 2, The Adventures of Tintin, Rio, Winnie The Pooh, Prep & Landing: Naughty vs. Nice, and The Simpsons.
