Daytime TV star Mary Beth Evans and Wilson Green will star in Daniel Stern’s Barbra’s Wedding, to run February 11-March 6 at the Blank Theatre Company‘s 2nd Stage Theatre. John G. Coppola will direct the production.
Stern’s play centers on a couple living in a shabby beachfront ranch in Malibu that’s next door to Barbra Streisand’s mansion and focuses on what happens between the couple as their famous neighbor’s wedding unfolds in 1998.
The creative team will include Brent Mason (scenic design), Warren Davis (sound design), and Robert Saduski (costume design).
Evans is best known for playing the role of Kayla Johnson on NBC’s Days of Our Lives. She also played Katherine Bell on ABC”s General Hospital and Port Charles and Sierra Drake on CBS’ As the World Turns.
