Darren Goldstein has joined the cast of Chistopher Durang's comedy Beyond Therapy, to be directed by Alex Timbers, which will first be seen at the Williamstown Theatre Festival, June 11-22, and then play the Bay Street Theatre, July 8-27. He replaces Tom Cavanagh, who will be co-starring in Second Stage's production of Some Americans Abroad.
As previously announced, the production will star Kate Burton, Katie Finneran, Darrell Hammond, Matt McGrath, and Bryce Pinkham. The show is about two New Yorkers in therapy, where the lines between doctor and patient are hilariously blurred.
The show's creative team includes Walt Spangler (sets), Emily Rebholz (costumes), Jeff Croiter (lighting), and Fitz Patton (sound). Timbers is the artistic director of Les Freres Corbusier.
