Jim Poulos to Star in Engeman Theater’s The Foreigner

Broadway veteran Jim Poulos will star in B.T. McNicholl’s production of Larry Shue’s comedy The Foreigner, to play the John W. Engeman Theater in Northport, Long Island, January 22-February 22.

The play concerns a pathologically shy man, whom the other guests in a country lodge are led to believe speaks no English.

The cast also includes Doug Stender, Suzan Perry, Jeffrey Withers, Jenny Dare Paulin, Sheffield Chastain, and Eric Petersen. The creative team includes Court Watson (sets), Gail Baldoni (costumes), Martin E. Vreeland (lighting), and David Premack (sound).

Poulos’ many stage credits include Rent, The Adventures of Tom Sawyer, Little Shop of Horrors, Lend Me a Tenor, and Illyria.
