Ralph Fiennes, Michael Gambon, Bill Nighy, Rachel Weisz, et al. Set for David Hare’s Page Eight for BBC

Bill Nighy, Rachel Weisz, Judy Davis, Michael Gambon and Ralph Fiennes will star in the BBC’s new spy thriller Page Eight. David Hare is writing and directing the project, which begins filming this month and will be aired on BBC Two later this year.

The movie focuses on Johnny Worricker (Nighy), a long-serving M15 officer, who has to deal with the consequences of the sudden death of his boss and best friend (Gambon), who leaves behind a file which threatens the stability of the organization.

The cast will also feature Ewen Bremner, Felicity Jones, Tom Hughes, Alice Krige, and Saskia Reeves.
