The London production of Chicago, playing the West End’s Garrick Theatre, will be changing out its stars as it heads into the new year.

Terence Maynard will return to the role of Billy Flynn on December 26, taking over from departing star Darius Campbell, who plays his final performance on December 24. America Ferrera and Amra-Faye Wright finish up their runs as Roxie Hart and Velma Kelly, respectively, on December 31. Those roles will be played by Sarah Soetaert and Rachel McDowall beginning on January 2.

The cast will continue to feature James Doherty (Amos Hart), Jasna Ivir (Mama Morton), and R. Whitehead (Mary Sunshine).

Chicago is based on the play by Maurine Dallas Watkins. It features a book by Fred Ebb and Bob Fosse, with music by John Kander and lyrics by Ebb. The production is directed by Walter Bobbie, and choreographed by Ann Reinking in the style of Bob Fosse.
