More casting has been announced for Rufus Norris’ upcoming London revival of John Kander, Fred Ebb, and Joe Masteroff’s musical Cabaret, according to the website WhatsOnStage. The production will open at the Savoy Theatre on October 3 following a four-week tour.

Joining the previously reported Will Young (as the Emcee) and Michelle Ryan (as Sally Bowles) will be Siân Phillips, Harriet Thorpe, and Matt Rawle. Additional casting will be announced in the future.

Phillips was recently seen on the West End in Calendar Girls. She won a BAFTA for her role in the series I, Claudius. Thorpe was in the original cast of Norris’ production of Cabaret, and has been seen in Wicked and Mamma Mia!, among others. Rawle has appeared in Evita, Zorro, and Martin Guerre.

Norris’ production, which originally opened in 2006 and won the Olivier Award, will feature choreography by Javier de Frutos. The musical is based on the stories of Christopher Isherwood and the play I Am a Camera by John Van Druten.
