London’s Hampstead Theatre has announced the selections for its upcoming Hampstead Downstairs season.

Opening the season is Rona Munro’s Donny’s Brain directed by Anna Ledwich, from September 22 to October 20. The work follows a man unable to recall the memories of his life following a car accident.

Pentabus Theatre will present Clare Bayley’s Blue Sky from October 24 to November 10. The thriller about journalism and justice follows an investigation as to what might be happening in the English countryside in the dead of night.

Steve Waters’ Ignorance, directed by Nathan Curry, follows from November 15 to December 15. Set in 1949 Colorado, the work follows a group of American students struggling to accept a foreigner in their community, unaware of the consequences it will have that will change history. Sixty years later, in London, a university professor analyzing the events encounters a student that bring the past suddenly into the present.
