Emlyn Williams’ The Druid’s Rest Revived at Finborough Theatre

Emlyn Williams’ The Druid’s Rest will be revived at the Finborough Theatre, September 6-23. David Cottus will direct the production, which will mark the first time the work has been seen in London in 60 years.

The play is set in a small Welsh village where the locals’ preparations for a celebration are interrupted by the arrival of an Englishman who is not who he appears to be. The cast will include David Broughton-Davies, Alyn Gwyndaf, Rachel Isaac, Rhodri Lewis, Anna Lindup, Joshua McCord, Michael Norledge, and Bennet Thorpe.
