David Tennant to Star in BBC Four’s The Spies of Warsaw

David Tennant will star in the BBC Four’s adaptation of Alan Furst’s novel The Spies Of Warsaw, according to The Hollywood Reporter.


The production, written by Dick Clement and Ian La Frenai, will feature Tennant as a military attache at the French embassy drawn into a world of abduction, betrayal and intrigue in the diplomatic salons and back alleys of Warsaw.


The cast will also include Janet Montgomery, Ludger Pistor, Ann Eleonora Jørgensen, Jan Pohl, Rad Kaim, Burn Gorman, Ellie Haddington, and Dan Fredenburgh.


Tennant’s many stage credits include Hamlet and Much Ado About Nothing, and he is best known for playing the title role in the BBC’s Doctor Who series.
