Criss Angel and Cirque du Soleil's collaborative production, Believe is currently in previews and will celebrate its gala world premiere at the Believe Theatre at Luxor, Las Vegas on October 31. Serge Denoncourt serves as co-writer (with Angel) and director.
The show is an homage to the late/great Harry Houdini, and stars Angel as a surreal, enigmatic Victorian Noble. Along a path of imaginative exploration, he encounters Kayala and Crimson, two women who represent different aspects of femininity, four bizarre Ushers, who introduce the audience to the baroque theater of Angel's mind and a high-energy troupe of characters and dancers.
The creative team includes Pierre Phaneuf (director of creation), Ray Winkler (set), Mérédith Caron (costumes), Éric Serra (composer, musical director, and arranger), Wade Robson (choreographer), Jeanette Farmer (lighting), Francis Laporte (images and projections), Jonathan Deans (sound), and John Farrell (director of illusions).
Angel is the writer/performer of Criss Angel MINDFREAK, which ran Off-Broadway, and later became a hit television series on A&E.

RE: Criss Angel's Believe to Hold Gala World Premiere on Halloween in Las Vegas
A co-worker of mine also saw the show. She thought it was great that Criss also co-wrote the show because it showed a lot of his personality! I work with Cirque, so fans should expect a mixture of both Criss and Cirques world and expect something refreshingly different from what theyre used to...
