Charles L. Mee’s Full Circle Gets Promenade-Style Production at Woolly Mammoth

Charles L. Mee’s Full Circle will receive a promenade staging at Woolly Mammoth Theatre, running October 26 – October 27. Michael Rohd will direct.

Mee’s play is a reimagining of the Chinese myth of the chalk circle — and two women at odds over a small child — that’s set against the backdrop of the fall of the Berlin Wall. The production will unfold throughout the Woolly Mammoth facility. The company will feature the theater’s artistic director Howard Shalwitz and company member Jessica Frances Dukes, along with Daniel Escobar, Naomi Jacobson, Sarah Marshall, Kate Eastwood Norris, Michael Russotto, and Michael Willis.

The creative team includes Shannon Scrofano (scenic and video design), Ivania Stack (costume design), Colin K. Bills (lighting design), and Veronika Vorel (sound design). Elizabeth Johnson will choreograph.
