Woolly Mammoth Theatre Company has announced cast and creative team information for the world premiere of Robert O'Hara's Antebellum, to play March 30-April 26, with an official opening of April 5. Chay Yew will direct.

Part mystery, part Hollywood romance, O'Hara's new work follows two stories; one set in 1939 Germany as Black American cabaret singer Gabriel is a kept companion to a Nazi officer; the other set on a Southern Plantation where a mysterious woman named Edna shows up at the home of Ariel and Sarah attempting to find work.

The cast will feature Carlton Byrd as Gabriel, Jessica Frances Dukes as Edna, Andrew Price as the Nazi Officer, Jenna Sokolowski as Sarah, and Nick Vienna as Ariel. The creative team will include Colin K. Bills (lighting design), Tony Cisek (set design), Matthew M. Nielson (sound design), and Valerie St. Pierre Smith (costume design).
