Cast and creative team information has been announced for Imagination Stage's new musical version of Heidi, which features a book by Martha King De Silva, with music and lyrics by Joan Cushing, based on the Victorian novel by Johanna Spyri. Janet Stanford directs the production, which will run April 4-May 17.

The show is about the orphaned Heidi, who moves from a small Swiss village to the Alps, on to Frankfurt, Germany and finally back to her beloved mountains, bringing joy to the people around her.

The cast will include Peter Boyer, Kate Guesman, Sandra Murphy, Anne Marie Pinto, Doug Wilder and Chris Wilson. The creative team will include George Fulginiti Shakar (musical director), Milagros Ponce de Leon (scenic design), Sean Boyle (lighting design), and Kathleen Geldard (costume design).
