Lamas, Leno, Phillips, et al. Set to Appear at Casa Manana

Additional details have been announced about Casa Manana’s 2008 programming.

As previously announced Casa Manana’s production of the Tom Jones-Harvey Schmidt musical The Fantasticks (June 3-8) will be directed by Jones. The show will star Lorenzo Lamas (El Gallo), Andy Baldwin (The Mute), David Coffee (Bellomy), Michael Nostrand (Mortimer), Erica Piccininni (Luisa), Nick Spangler (Matt), and Gary Taggart (Huckabee).

On July 5, the theater will host its 50th Anniversary Celebration, which includes a Broadway musical revue, performances by the Casa Kids, and a variety of family activities. Up next will be the Tony Award-winning musical Avenue Q (July 8-13), and the musical Damn Yankees starring Lou Diamond Phillips as Applegate (August 12-17).

On August 23, the theater will present its Laugh With a Legend Gala, featuring special guest Jay Leno, the host of NBC’s The Tonight Show.

The theater’s season will continue the national tours of Mamma Mia! (September 11-14) and Tuna Does Vegas with Joe Sears and Jaston Williams (October 21-26).
