(© Joseph Marzullo/WENN) | Kelly Sullivan will play Inga, Tony Award winner Beth Leavel will play Frau Blucher, and Michelle Ragusa will play Elizabeth in Young Frankenstein as of July 8, July 15, and August 5 respectively. They will replace departing stars Sutton Foster, Andrea Martin, and Megan Mullally.
Young Frankenstein features music by Mel Brooks, book by Brooks and Thomas Meehan based on Brooks' 1974 film, and direction and choreography by Susan Stroman. The cast will continue to star Roger Bart as Dr. Frankenstein, Shuler Hensley as the Monster, Christopher Fitzgerald as Igor, and Fred Applegate as Inspector Kemp.
Sullivan's previous Broadway credits include Contact and Bells are Ringing. Leavel won the Tony for The Drowsy Chaperone and appeared on Broadway in 42nd Street and Crazy for You. Her recent stage credits include No, No, Nanette and Dancing in the Dark. Ragusa's many stage credits include Kiss Me, Kate, Adrift in Macao, Ragtime, and A Class Act.
