Season Lineup Announced for Connecticut's Sharon Playhouse

The theater will present four productions this summer.

Connecticut's Sharon Playhouse has announced its 2017 season.

The season kicks off with Minor Character: Six Translations of Uncle Vanya at the Same Time, created by New Saloon and directed by Morgan Green. It will run June 9-25.

Next up is Caryl Churchill's Far Away, directed by Morgan Green and running July 7-23.

Also on tap is Meredith Willson's The Music Man, directed by Green as well and running August 4-20.

Sharon Playhouse will also present a youth theater production of the Dean Pitchford-Michael Gore-Walter Bobbie musical Footloose, directed by Sarah Combs (July 14-16). It will feature students ages 13-19 from the Sharon Playhouse Youth Theater.
