Full Cast, Creative Team Set for Cheri Steinkellner and Georgia Stitt’s Hello! My Baby

Full cast and creative team have been announced for Cheri Steinkellner’s Hello! My Baby, with arrangements and new music by Georgia Stitt, to be presented as part of Goodspeed Musicals’ season at The Norma Terris Theater in Chester, Connecticut running November 3-22. Ray Roderick will direct the production, which will have choreography by Kelli Barclay.

The show celebrates the birth of the American popular song, using numbers by 20 composers, including Irving Berlin, the Gershwins, and Jerome Kern. Among the selections in the musical will be “I’m Always Chasing Rainbows,” “Alice Blue Gown,” “Ain’t We Got Fun,” “A Good Man Is Hard To Find,” “You Made Me Love You,” “My Buddy,” and “Stairway To Paradise,” along with the tune that gives the show its title.

The cast will feature Justin Bowen, Stephanie Koenig, Kelly McCormick, Carrington Vilmont, Dick Decareau, Beth McVey, Frank Root, Alex Viola, Jessica Azenberg, Matthew Bauman, Catherine Blades, Zak Edwards, Michael Mendez, Clinton Roane, Allie Schauer, Jeremy Sevelovitz, Ashley Wallace, and Michael Warrell.


The creative team will include set designer Michael Schweikardt, costume designer Robin L. McGee, lighting designer John Lasiter, sound designer, Jay Hilton, and musical director Steve Saari.


Steinkellner received a Tony Award nomination for the book for Broadway’s Sister Act. Among her other theater credits is Mosaic, written with Stitt. In addition, Steinkeller has written and produced for such television series as Cheers, The Jeffersons, and Family Ties.

Stitt’s other credits include the musicals Big Red Sun, The Water, and Sing Me a Happy Song, as well as the song cycle Alphabet City Cycle.
