Yale Rep Announces Casting for Bernard-Marie Koltès’ Battle of Black and Dogs

Casting has been announced for Yale Repertory Theatre‘s production of Bernard-Marie Koltès’ Battle of Black and Dogs, translated by Michaël Attias, to run April 16 – May 8. Robert Woodruff will direct the piece.

Set in a remote corner of Africa, the play looks at the events that take place after a hired man mysteriously dies on an isolated construction compound. The company will feature Albert Jones (Alboury), Tracy Middendorf (Léone), Andrew Robinson (Horn), and Tommy Schrider (Cal).

The creative team will include Riccardo Hernandez (scenic design); Tom McAlister and Ilona Somogyi (costume design); Stephen Strawbridge (lighting design); and Chad Raines (sound design). Translator Attias will provide the original music for the production.
