Nancy Anderson, Jessica Grové, Jeremy Peter Johnson, Douglas Sills, et al. Set for Westport’s She Loves Me

Casting has been announced for the Westport Country Playhouse production of the Jerry Bock-Sheldon Harnick-Joe Masteroff musical, She Loves Me, April 20-May 8. As previously announced, Mark Lamos will direct the production.

The plot of this musical romantic comedy involves Georg and Amalia, feuding shop clerks in a 1930s Budapest parfumerie, who unknowingly fall in love via their letters as anonymous romantic pen pals.

The cast will star Jeremy Peter Johnson as Georg and Jessica Grové as Amalia, with Nancy Anderson as Ilona Ritter, Douglas Sills as Steven Kodaly, Michael McCormick as Ladislav Sipos, Lenny Wolpe as Mr. Maraczek, Christopher Shin as Arpad Laszlo, and David Bonanno as Head Waiter/Keller. The ensemble will include Alison Cimmet, Aaron Galligan-Stierle, Jenny Latimer, Robin Lounsbury, and Sam Pinkleton.

The creative team will include Wayne Barker (music director), Jonathan Butterell (choreographer), Riccardo Hernandez (scenic design), Candice Donnelly (costume design), Rui Rita (lighting design), and Domonic Sack (sound design).
