Mac Wellman’s tigertigertiger to Perform at Long Wharf Theatre April 9

Long Wharf Theatre will present public performances of the Next Stage Company’s production of Mac Wellman’s tigertigertiger on April 9 at 10:30am and 1pm. Maryna Harrison will direct.

This poetic rock musical for young audiences lyrically portrays two kids growing up in a grown up world — of violence, unknown places and tigers! The play will also have four school performances on April 7 and 8 at 9:30am and 11:30am.

The cast will feature Sam Taubl (Kid One), Jenna Lex (Kid Two), Jesse Gabbard (Tiger One), Nicole Rodriguez (Tiger Two), Taneisha Duggan (Tiger Three), Matt Cornish (Homeless Man/ Oppenheimer/ Moon Rock), and Rick Bean (Uncle Celery).

The creative team will include Katrina Frances (set), Sam Hewett (lighting), Caitlin Headley (costumes), Nicole Rheaume (sound), and Mallory Morris (movement coach).

Admission is free for school performances and a suggested donation of $5 for the public performances. For more information, click here.
