Court Theatre Announces Its 2012-2013 Season

Court Theatre has announced its 2012-2013 season.

Charles Newell, will direct four of the theater’s productions, including James Joyce’s The Dead, (November 8 – December 9), Richard Nelson and Shaun Davey’s adaptation of the Irish writer’s eccentric holiday classic, which will have music direction by Doug Peck. In addition, Newell will direct a new production of David Auburn’s Proof (March 7 – April 14), as well as Moliere’s The Misanthrope (May 9 – June 9) and Tartuffe (June 20 – July 14).

The Court Theatre schedule also includes August Wilson’s Jitney (September 6 – October 14), a look at life among a group of cab drivers in the late 1970s; to be directed by Ron OJ Parson; and David Hare’s Skylight (January 10 – February 10), which focuses on two former lovers as they attempt to rekindle their passionate affair, to be directed by William Brown.
