Dr. Seuss’ How The Grinch Stole Christmas, Sister Act Added to Broadway in Chicago’s 2012 Lineup

Broadway in Chicago has announced the addition of three shows to its slate of presentations for 2012, according to a report in The Chicago Tribune.

Among the newly announced offerings is the musical Sister Act, which will play the Auditorium Theatre, running November 13 – December 2. The show, based on the movie of the same name, features a score by Alan Menken and Glenn Slater, and a book by its original screenwriters Cheri and Bill Steinkellner and Douglas Carter Beane.

Also added to the Broadway in Chicago lineup is new touring production of Les Miserables will return to Chicago, which will play the Cadillac Palace Theatre, running November 14 – December 2, and Dr. Seuss’ How the Grinch Stole Christmas will play the same venue, running December 5-16.
