Ian Barford, Francis Guinan, Martha Lavey, and William Petersen will star in the Steppenwolf Theatre production of Samuel Beckett’s Endgame, April 1-June 6, with an opening set for April 11. Frank Galati will direct. Lavey replaces the previously announced Rondi Reed.
Beckett’s absurd comic masterpiece follows Hamm (Petersen), a blind man unable to stand, and his servant Clov, who is unable to sit, as they pass their days in a tiny house by the sea — if the sea still exists.
The design team will include James Schuette (sets and costumes), James Ingalls (lights) and Andre Pluess (sound).
