The Marriott Theatre, in Lincolnshire, IL, will kick off its 2012 season with the seven-time Tony Award nominated musical Legally Blonde, which will play January 18-March 25, with an opening on January 27. The production will be directed and choreographed by Multi-Jeff Award winner Marc Robin.

Based on the novel by Amanda Brown and the hit 2001 MGM movie of the same name starring Reese Witherspoon, the show centers on college sweetheart and homecoming queen Elle Woods, who doesn't take no for an answer. So when she gets dumped by her boyfriend for someone more serious, she puts down her credit cards, hits the books, and sets out where no other Delta Nu has gone before - Harvard Law School.

Chelsea Packard will star as Elle, with the cast also featuring Cole Burden (Warner), David Larsen (Emmett), Gene Weygandt (Professor Callahan), Christine Sherrill (Paulette), Stephanie Binetti (Vivienne), Summer Naomi Smart (Brooke), Tiffany Topol (Margot), Lara Filip (Enid), Keewa Nurullah (Pilar), Alexandra E. Palkovic (Serena), Julius Carter (Grandmast Chad), Will Skrip (Aaron), Steve Calzaretta (Kyle) and Scott Alan Jones (Padamadan/Nikkos).

The ensemble will include Barbara Jo Bednarczuk, Jamie Cooper, James Lee Glatz, Brian Hoffman, Amber Mak, Matt Raftery, Vanessa Panerosa, Laura Savage and Leslie Taylor.
