Northlight Announces Casting for Black Pearl Sings!, Ten Chimneys, [title of show]

Northlight Theatre has announced casting for several of its upcoming shows.

E. Faye Butler and Susie McMonagle will star in Black Pearl Sings! (January 13-February 19), by Frank Higgins. Steve Scott will direct this play with music that tells the Depression-era story of two extraordinary women dependant on one another to gain acceptance in a divided society.

Jeffrey Hatcher’s Ten Chimneys (March 9-April 15) will star V Craig Heidenreich as Alfred Lunt and Ellen Karas as Lynne Fontanne, and also include Janet Ulrich Brooks, Sara Griffin and Linda Kimbrough. BJ Jones will direct this work set in Lunt and Fontanne’s legendary retreate, and in which a spirited onstage rehearsal sparks an offstage romantic triangle.

Jeff Bowen and Hunter Bell’s musical, [title of show] (May 4-June 10) will feature McKinley Carter, Matt Crowle, Stephen Shellhardt and Christine Sherrill. Peter Amster will direct this meta-musical comedy about two young writers decide to create a new musical in just three weeks. Music direction will be by Doug Peck.
