The musical by Tom Jones and Harvey Schmidt is based on the tale Les Romanesques by Edmond Rostand. It focuses on two scheming fathers who try to spark a romance between their teenage children.

In addition to Parker, the show will feature Sean Effinger-Dean as Matt, Dan Ferretti as Hucklebee, Ryan Lanning as Bellomy, Tanya McBride as The Mute, William Raffeld as Henry-the old actor, Rus Rainear as Mortimer, and Emma Rosenthal as Luisa. The creative team includes musical director Eugene Dizon, choreographer Andrew Waters, costume designer Izumi Inaba and scenic designer Ian Zywica.
