Spectralia Theatre and the Chicago Park District to Present As You Like It

Spectralia Theatre, in cooperation with Friends of the Parks and the Chicago Park District, presents a free production of Shakespeare’s As You Like It, June 30-August 5 in parks around Chicago. Don Johnson will direct.

A crew of buskers, nature enthusiasts, and park employees take the audience on an adventure of love, honor, and reconciliation. Patrons are encouraged to bring picnics, blankets, and/or chairs to this outdoor production.

The cast will feature Patrick Bromley (Charles/Corin), LaToya Codner (Rosalind), Delicia Dunham (Duke Senior), Chelsea Hano (Sir Oliver Martext/Hymen), Julie Johnson (Jacques), Sara Kleinman (Phoebe), Jim Moore (Silvius), Cassandra Quinn (Celia), Nathan Randall (Orlando), Julia Rigby (Le Beau/Willa), Anna Robinson (Touchstone), Jon Rooney (Oliver), Renae Stone (Eva), Jack Swokowski (Duke Frederick/Aubrey), and Casey Wortmann (Amiens).

The creative team will include Peter Waldman (original music), Julie Johnson (choreography), Chad Bianchi (set design), Emma Weber (costume design), and Julie Johnson and Katherine Beasley (prop design).
