Ashford, Brescia, Cusick to Join Chicago’s Wicked on June 3

Broadway veterans Annaleigh Ashford, Lisa Brescia, and Kristoffer Cusick will take on the roles of Glinda, Elphaba, and Fiyero, respectively in the Chicago production of Wicked, beginning on June 3.

Based on Gregory Maguire’s novel, Wicked features a score by Stephen Schwartz and a book by Winnie Holzman. The production is directed by Joe Mantello, with musical staging by Wayne Cilento.

The cast also includes Barbara Robertson as Madame Morrible, Gene Weygandt as The Wizard, Heidi Kettering as Nessarose, K.Todd Freeman as s Doctor Dillamond, and Stanton Nash as Boq. The ensemble features Meredith Akins, Kerry Blanchard, Cristin Boyle, Jeremy Duvall, Peter C. Ermides, Steven James Ewing, Marisa Field, Timothy A. Fitz-Gerald, James Ginnever, Jacqui Graziano, Charles Hagerty, Gregory Haney, Jill Hayman, Michelle London, Patrick McCollum, Vanessa McMahan, Vicki Noon, Nathan Peck, Casey Quinn, Mindy Reid, Don Richard, Brad Simanski, Betsy Struxness, and Kevin Samual Yee.

As recently announced, Wicked will conclude its Chicago run on January 25.
