Mortar Theatre Company will present the world premiere of Bombs, Babes and Bingo, by Merri Biechler May 20-June 17 at Luna Central. Rachel Edwards Harvith will direct.

In the play, Dennis is a scientist, father, and bomb maker. His wife keeps busy enrolled in Clown College, and his daughter walks among the destruction her father's designs have caused searching for meaning.

The cast will feature Richard Perez (Dennis), Stephanie Stroud (his wife), Cruz Gonzalez (his daughter), Megan Tabaque (the Bingo Girl), and Erica Hernandez (understudy).

The creative team includes Heath Hays (original music and sound design), John Kelly (lighting design), Robert S. Kuhn (co-set/costume design), Kate Masiak, Jeff Shields (prop design), and Michelle Underwood (co-set/projection design).
