Tympanic Theatre Company to Present Bruce Springsteen-Inspired Deliver Us From Nowhere: Tales From Nebraska

Tympanic Theatre Company is set to present Deliver Us From Nowhere: Tales From Nebraska, a collection of ten short plays inspired by songs from Bruce Springsteen’s album Nebraska, to run April 26-May 20 at The Right Brain Project.

Plays will include Justin Gerber’s Man Will Mettle, inspired by the song “Nebraska” and directed by Brian Ruby; Adam Webster’s Resurrecting Beauty, inspired by “Atlantic City” and directed by Amanda Jane Dunne; Chris Bower’s When You’re Dead, inspired by “Mansion On The Hill” and directed by Kyra Lewandowski; Winning Ugly by Bob Fisher, inspired by “Johnny 99” and directed by Chris Acevedo; The Stray by Scott T. Barsotti, inspired by “Highway Patrolman” and directed by Allison Shoemaker; Drew and Daniel Caffrey’s Gospel Hour, inspired by “State Trooper” and directed by Aaron Henrickson; and Mary Laws’ The Drive, inspired by “Used Cars” and directed by Michael Carnow.

The event will also include Daughters Of Necessity by Ted Brengle, inspired by “Open All Night” and directed by Joshua Ellison; Happy. Happier Then. by Randall Colburn, inspired by “My Father’s House” and directed by Jamie Bragg; and Joshua Mikel’s Dead Dogs, inspired by “Reason To Believe” and directed by John Ross Wilson.

The cast of Deliver Us From Nowhere: Tales From Nebraska will include Zachary Baker-Salmon, Lindsey Barlag, Courtney Blomquist, Ali Delianides, Jared Fernley, Dennis Frymire, McKenzie Gerber, Ellen Girvin, Korri Givens, Megan Gotz, Rebecca Loeser, Sarah Mayhan, Kevin Murray, Annie Perry, Christopher Pitt, Jereme Rhodes, Michael Rice, Nelson Rodriguez Rivas, Jennifer Roehm, Sergio Soltero, Jordan Stacey, Lindsay Stock, Christine Vrem-Ydstie, Chris Waldron, and Nate White.

The design team will feature Brian Berman (lighting design), Maxwell Shults (sound design), Charlotte Mae Jusino (costume design), and Casey Bentley (props design). Musicians will include Mike Boren, McKenzie Gerber, Elise Mayfield, Jon Patrick Penick, and Gwen Tulin.
