Johanna Day, Frederick Weller Set for Neil LaBute’s second year senior Reading in Cape Cod

Johanna Day and Frederick Weller will star in a staged reading of Neil LaBute’s new play, second year senior at The Cape Cod Theatre Project on July 22, 23 and 24. As previously reported, Andrew McCarthy will direct.

In the play, a brother and sister open old wounds and cause new ones as they work together to clear a rental property of the belongings of a former tenant.

Day received a Tony Award nomination for her role in Proof. Her many other stage credits include August: Osage County, A Midsummer’s Night Dream, Peter and Jerry, Almost an Evening, The Rainmaker, Satellites, and How I Learned to Drive.

Weller starred Off-Broadway in LaBute’s In a Dark Dark House. His numerous New York stage credits include Still Life, Some Men, Glengarry Glen Ross, Seascape, The Little Foxes, Take Me Out, and Mother Courage and Her Children.
