Cape Playhouse has announced casting for three of its summer productions.

Suzanne LaRusch stars in An Evening With Lucille Ball: Thank You For Asking! (June 13-25), directed by Lucille Ball’s real-life daughter, Lucie Arnaz. The piece features home movie video clips and personal memories from the star’s 30 year show business career.

Doug Cohen’s No Way to Treat a Lady (June 27-July 9) is described as “an uproarious, sexy musical that gives new meaning to the phrase ‘knock ’em dead’!” It will star Josh Grisetti as Detective Morris Brummel, and also include Judy Blazer (Flora), Bradley Dean (Kit Gill), and Stacie Morgan Lewis (Sarah Stone). Mark Shanahan will direct, with musical direction by Michael Rice and choreography by Jennifer Waldman.

The Graduate (July 11-23) will star Patricia Richardson as Mrs. Robinson, along with Joel Higgins (Mr. Robinson), Steven Booth (Benjamin), Bethe B. Austin (Mrs. Braddock), Mark Zimmerman (Mr. Braddock), Emily Walton (Elaine), and Jamie LaVerdiere (Psychiatrist). Pam Hunt will direct this stage adaptation of the 1960s hit comedy movie.
