Broadway's Waitress will welcome back Will Swenson to the production tonight at the Brooks Atkinson Theatre. He will take on the role of Earl, which he played earlier this summer, replacing Joe Tippett.

Inspired by Adrienne Shelly's 2007 motion picture, Waitress features songs by Sara Bareilles, a book by Jessie Nelson, and direction by Diane Paulus. The production opened April 24, 2016, at the Brooks Atkinson Theatre, and earned four Tony nominations.

In addition to Swenson, Waitress stars Betsy Wolfe as Jenna, with Drama Desk nominee Eric Anderson (Cal), Charity Angél Dawson (Becky), Tony Award nominee Christopher Fitzgerald (Ogie), Drew Gehling (Dr. Pomatter), Caitlin Houlahan (Dawn), Larry Marshall (Joe), Dayna Jarae Dantzler, Kayla Davion, Matt DeAngelis, Law Terrell Dunford, Cate Elefante, Henry Gottfried, Molly Hager, Molly Jobe, Max Kumangai, Anastacia McCleskey, Ella Dane Morgan, Jeremy Morse, and Stephanie Torns.

Waitress will begin its U.S. national tour at Playhouse Square Center this October.
