Stars of Broadway's Old Times Clive Owen, Kelly Reilly, and Eve Best Meet the Press

The trio takes on Harold Pinter’s 1971 drama under the direction of Douglas Hodge.

The stars of Roundabout Theatre Company's upcoming revival of Harold Pinter's Old Times met the press at the American Airlines Theatre on August 26. The drama, directed by Tony Award winner Douglas Hodge, begins performances there September 17, with opening night set for October 6.

Clive Owen (The Knick), Eve Best (Nurse Jackie), and Kelly Reilly (True Detective) star in Pinter's 1971 drama of desire and blurred realities. Owen is Deeley, a man looking forward to meeting Anna (Best), a long-ago friend of his wife, Kate (Reilly). But as the night goes on, Anna’s visit quickly shifts from an ordinary sharing of memories to a quiet battle for power.

Hodge's creative team includes Christine Jones (sets), Constance Hoffman (costumes), Japhy Weideman (lighting), Clive Goodwin (sound), and Radiohead songwriter Thom Yorke (original music).

Hodge, a Tony-winning actor who has been seen on Broadway in La Cage aux Folles and Cyrano de Bergerac, makes his Broadway directorial debut with the production. He has starred in productions of Pinter plays No Man's Land, Moonlight, A Kind of Alaska, Betrayal, and The Caretaker.
