Disney's Frozen Takes Over the St. James Theatre

The new musical doesn’t begin previews until February, but the signage is going up.

The pre-Broadway run of the new musical Frozen begins its engagement at the Denver Center for the Performing Arts on August 17. Today, the show's signage started going up at New York's St. James Theatre, where it begins previews February 22.

Based on the hit 2013 animated film, Frozen features music and lyrics by the creators of the film score, Kristen Anderson-Lopez (In Transit) and EGOT winner Robert Lopez (The Book of Mormon), and a book by Jennifer Lee (Zootopia), the film's screenwriter and director (with Chris Buck). Tony winner Michael Grandage (Red) directs, with choreography by Tony winner Rob Ashford (Thoroughly Modern Millie).
