(© Joseph Marzullo/WENN) | Full casting has been announced for the upcoming Broadway production of Hedda Gabler by Henrik Ibsen, beginning at the Roundabout Theatre's American Airlines Theater on January 6.
The production, which will open on January 25, features a new adaptation by Christopher Shinn and will be directed by Ian Rickson.
Joining Tony Award winners Mary Louise Parker in the title role and Michael Cerveris as Jorgen Tesman are Paul Sparks (Ejlert Lovborg), Peter Stormare (Judge Brack), Lois Markle (Berte), Ana Reeder (Thea Elvsted), and Helen Carey (Juliane Tersman).
The design team includes Hildegard Bechtler (sets), Ann Roth (costumes), Natasha Katz (lighting), and John Gromada (sound). Rickson, the former head of the Royal Court Theatre, is also represented this season on Broadway by The Seagull.
