The Addams Family Musical to Play Brazil in Spring 2012

The Broadway musical, The Addams Family will receive its first international production when it debuts at Teatro Abril in Sao Paulo, Brazil in Spring 2012, produced in partnership with Time for Fun Productions.
Featuring a book by Marshall Brickman and Rick Elice, and music and lyrics by Andrew Lippa, the musical comedy is based on the bizarre and beloved family of characters created by legendary cartoonist Charles Addams.
The production is directed and designed (sets and costumes) by Phelim McDermott and Julian Crouch, with creative consultation by Jerry Zaks and choreography by Sergio Trujillo. Lighting design is by Natasha Katz, sound design by Acme Sound Partners and puppetry by Basil Twist.
As previously reported, The Addams Family will make its Australian premiere at the Capitol Theatre in Sydney, Australia in March 2013, while the show’s U.S. national tour will launch at the Mahalia Jackson Theater for the Performing Arts in New Orleans, LA, in September.
