Angela Lansbury will make a special appearance at the opening of Ginger Rogers Century, a special exhibition honoring the legendary entertainer, at the Mugar Library Building on Monday, October 24, and will appear in a specially created live performance later that evening at the Tsai Performance Center in Boston.
The show, which will be hosted by Nick Clooney and feature singer Karen Oberlin, will feature songs written especially for Rogers by Irving Berlin, the Gershwins, Jerome Kern, and many more, along with stories from her life, and clips from her films, including Kitty Foyle, for which she won her Oscar.
A second performance of the show will take place at the Coolidge Corner Theatre in Brookline on October 25; however, Lansbury will not participate in that one.
