Chris Bott, Kira Cowan to Star in The Wedding Singer at F.U.D.G.E. Theatre Company

F.U.D.G.E. Theatre Company has announced the cast and creative team for their upcoming production of The Wedding Singer, July 24-August 1, will Joe DeMita at the helm and musical direction by Jason Whiting.

In The Wedding Singer, created by Chad Beguelin, Tim Herlihy, and Matthew Sklar, follows rock-star wannabe Robbie Heart, New Jersey's favorite wedding singer. When his own fiancee leaves him at the altar, Robbie makes every wedding as disastrous as his own until a winsome waitress, Julie, wins his affection. The cast will star Chris Bott as Robbie and Kira Cowan as Julia; feature Sara Brodsky as Rosie, Robin Burrage as Angie, Justin Colombo as Sammy, Trevor Croft as George, Paige McClean as Linda, Samuel Moscoso as Glen, and Katie Preisig as Holly; and rounding out the ensemble are AnneMarie Alvarez, Steve Dyer, Stacy Kadesch, Amanda Lane, Ryan MacPherson, Christopher Smith, Kacee Staiti, and Tom Rimer.

The creative team will include Joe DeMita (set design), Trevor Efinger (choreographer), Romo Hallahan (lighting design), and Kaitlyn MacPherson (costume/make-up design).
