Publick Theatre Boston Announces Cast for The Real Inspector Hound

Publick Theatre Boston has announced casting for its production of Tom Stoppard’s The Real Inspector Hound, to be presented at the BCA Plaza Theatre, September 2-25. Diego Arciniegas will direct.

In the play, Moon and Birdboot, two mediocre theatre critics, have gone to review yet another murder mystery, set in the parlour of “charming but isolated” Muldoon Manor. When the fog rolls in, it becomes clear that more than one person has ulterior motives for being at the show. Reality and theatricality become intertwined – then indistinguishable – as doubt falls on whether or not a play, or the perfect murder, might be in progress.

The cast includes Barlow Adamson as Moon, William Gardiner as Birdboot, Sheriden Thomas as Mrs. Drudge, Danny Bryck as Simon Gascoyne, Anna Waldron as Felicity Cunningham, Georgia Lyman as Lady Cynthia Muldoon, Gabriel Kuttner as Major Magnus Muldoon, and Wayne Fritsche as Inspector Hound.

The design team will include Dahlia Al-Habieli (sets), Jeff Adelberg (lights), Molly Trainer (costumes), and John Doerschuk (sound).
