Beau Jest Moving Theatre will present the world premiere production of a comedy by Tennessee Williams, The Remarkable Rooming House of Madame Le Monde, at the Charlestown Working Theater, September 18 and 19. Davis Robinson will direct.

Written late in the celebrated playwright’s life, the play is set in a boarding house in London, where a mysteriously paralyzed man named Mint moves around his attic by swinging from hooks as he prepares for tea with his old friend, Hall. The cast will include Larry Coen, Jordan Harrison, Nick Ronan, and Lisa Tucker.

The production was commissioned by the Provincetown Tennessee Williams Festival, where it will be performed in September.
