Wizard of Oz National Tour Will Play Over 70 Cities

The national tour of The Wizard of Oz will play over 70 cities in North America during its second year even as the MGM film on which it is based celebrates the 70th anniversary of its release. The tour will re-launch in Chattanooga, Tennessee on October 10-11, after which it will play in 32 states and Ontario, Canada.

The company features Cassie Okenka (Dorothy Gale), Adam Jepsen (Scarecrow), Peter Gosik (Hickory/Tinman), Jesse Coleman (Zeke/Lion), Pat Sibley (Wicked Witch of the West), Robert John Biedermann (Professor Marvel/The Wizard of Oz), Kristin Stewart (Auntie Em/Glinda), and Ryan Wagner (Uncle Henry/Emerald City Guard).

The production is directed by Nigel West and choreographed by Leigh Constantine. The creative team includes Tim McQuillen-Wright (scenic and costume design), Bob Bonniol (lighting design and projections coordination) and Shannon Slaton (sound design).
