Marsha Mason, Paxton Whitehead Set for STC’s Free For All Production of All’s Well That Ends Well

The Shakespeare Theatre Company will present All’s Well That Ends Well as its annual Free For All offering, August 23-September 5 at STC’s Sidney Harman Hall. Jenny Lord will direct the production

This production of All’s Well That Ends Well is set in the era of World War I and tells of Helena, the daughter of a physician, who cures the ailing King of France using the skills her late father taught her.

The cast will feature Marsha Mason as the Countess of Rossillion, Miriam Silverman as Helena, Ted van Griethuysen as the King of France, and Paxton Whitehead as Lafew.


The cast will also include Bev Appleton (1st Elder Lord), Shawn Fagan (Interpreter), Conrad Feininger (2nd Elder Lord and the Duke of Florence), Cameron Folmar (Parolles), Adam Green (Lavatch), Michael Hammond (Dumaine the Younger), Rachel Spencer Hewitt (Diana), Caitlin O’Connell (Widow Capilet), Barbara Pinolini (Reynalda and Mariana), Tony Roach (Bertram), and Ashley Smith (Dumaine the Elder).


Ensemble members will include Jefferson Farber, Michael Gregory, Maya Jackson, Aaryn Kopp, Thony Mena, Jason A. Phillips, and Jack Powers.

The design team will include Court Watson (set design), Robert Perdziola (costume design), Charlie Morrison (lighting design), and Martin Desjardins (sound design). Music is by composer Adam Wernick, and choreography is by Karma Camp.
